Thyroid consultation in Greater Noida West

People search for a thyroid doctor in Delhi NCR, a doctor for high TSH, or a doctor for low TSH. At this clinic that visit is with Dr Rajeev Ranjan Jha, MBBS, MD (Medicine). Diabetes and thyroid illness are printed together on his clinic sign. He is a physician. This page does not call him an endocrinologist.

What a thyroid consultation covers

The thyroid is a small gland in the neck. It makes hormones that affect energy, weight, heart rate, and how the body uses food. A physician visit reads a blood report together with how you feel and which tablets you already take. This page does not start, stop, or change a dose.

Symptoms people notice

An underactive thyroid (hypothyroidism) may come with tiredness, feeling cold, weight gain, constipation, dry skin, or a slow pulse. An overactive thyroid (hyperthyroidism) may come with weight loss, feeling hot, a fast heartbeat, tremor, or poor sleep. Many of these symptoms have other causes. A report is needed before anyone calls it a thyroid problem.

Common reasons a report is abnormal

Autoimmune thyroid disease is a frequent reason. Hashimoto’s thyroiditis is one cause of an underactive thyroid. Graves’ disease is one cause of an overactive thyroid. A physician can review a report that mentions these names. Pregnancy, some medicines, and a recent illness can also move the numbers. A large swelling, eye symptoms, or a result that stays far outside the range should be discussed for specialist care.

High TSH and low TSH

TSH is the blood test most often used first. A high TSH often fits an underactive thyroid. A low TSH often fits an overactive thyroid. Laboratories print their own ranges. Free T4, and sometimes free T3 or antibody tests, are added when the first result needs more context. The number alone is not a diagnosis.

When to book, and when not to wait

Book when a report sits outside the laboratory range, when a dose was changed and has not been reviewed, or when neck swelling or a clear change in weight was advised to be checked. Sudden severe neck swelling with trouble breathing, or a very fast heartbeat with fainting, needs emergency care.

What to bring

  • The latest TSH and any T3 or T4 report
  • Older thyroid reports, if you have them
  • The names and doses of tablets, including any thyroid tablet
  • A note of symptoms and how long they have been present

What the visit can and cannot do

The consultation can explain a report, look for symptoms that need a sooner review, and plan ordinary physician follow-up. It does not replace an endocrinology opinion when the doctor says one is needed, and it does not promise that a number will return to a chosen target.

The only clinic is FF 34–37, 1st floor, Galleria Market, Gaur City 2, Greater Noida West. Patients from Noida, Ghaziabad, Delhi, and the rest of Delhi NCR are seen at this address. There is no other branch. Monday to Saturday, 8:30 am to 9:30 pm. Sunday is closed.

Questions patients ask

Is this a thyroid specialist in Delhi NCR?

No. Dr Rajeev Ranjan Jha is a general physician. Thyroid illness is on his clinic sign. An endocrinologist is a different qualification.

Can I come with a high TSH from a lab in Noida or Ghaziabad?

Yes. Bring the printed or digital report. You are seen at the Greater Noida West clinic, not at a branch in the city where the test was done.
