Chest and abdomen problems

The sign lists chest and abdomen related problems. Dr Rajeev Ranjan Jha can assess cough, acidity, gas, constipation, loose motions, and abdominal discomfort in a physician consultation. He is not a gastroenterologist and not a cardiologist.

What people usually come for

Acidity, burning behind the breastbone, bloating, constipation, and loose motions are common reasons for a physician visit. The US National Institute of Diabetes and Digestive and Kidney Diseases describes indigestion as discomfort in the upper abdomen, often after eating. A cough or chest discomfort can also be infection, acidity, or a heart symptom. The visit is how those are sorted. This page cannot sort them.

Fatty liver and abnormal liver tests

A fatty-liver note on an ultrasound, or a raised SGOT or SGPT, can be discussed from the report you bring. Extra weight, diabetes, and alcohol are common contributors to metabolic fatty liver. This page does not offer a liver procedure, and it does not call the doctor a liver specialist.

Kidney and urine symptoms

Burning urine, a urine-infection report, or a raised creatinine can be reviewed in the same physician visit. This is not a nephrology clinic. A result that keeps rising, or swelling with very little urine, needs the doctor to say whether a kidney specialist is required.

When to use emergency care

Severe chest pain, black stools, vomiting blood, or a rigid and very painful abdomen needs emergency care, not this clinic slot. Trouble breathing with chest pain is an emergency.

What to bring

  • Ultrasound, liver test, or urine report, if you have one
  • Names of acidity, pain, and other tablets
  • How long the symptom has lasted, and whether there is weight loss or bleeding

Patients from Delhi NCR are seen at the Greater Noida West clinic only. Monday to Saturday, 8:30 am to 9:30 pm. Sunday is closed.

Questions patients ask

Is this a gastroenterologist?

No. Chest and abdomen problems are on a general physician’s sign. Endoscopy and specialist gastroenterology are different services.

Can I bring a fatty-liver ultrasound?

Yes. The doctor can explain the report. The visit does not include a liver procedure.
